Minit Market accident updated!
VIA SBINSIDER | March 30th, 2023
Today, an accident occurred when a car seemingly drove down the golf cart path and after traveling about 50 yards, collided with a tree next to SaddleBrooke Blvd. The golf cart is unusually wide and paved in concrete at this juncture, which makes it possible to be mistaken for a section of road.
The Minit Market has been the site of 2 other recent accidents as reported in SBINSIDER, one involving a fatality. (Click here for the link to that story.)
Apparently, a driver was attempting to turn East onto SaddleBrooke Blvd. from Desert Bluff Drive went down the path and then tried to access SaddleBrooke Blvd, hitting the tree. At this time, no information is available on any injures that may have been sustained, but Golder Ranch Fire was reportedly on scene with their trucks and an ambulance. HOA1 patrol officials had no information on this accident, HOA2 patrol has not responded to inquires.
One SaddleBrooke resident said ” I don’t think the car hit the tree from the golf path, I think it jumped the curb and hit the tree.” When this resident was asked why he thought this was the case, he replied he got out of his car and took a look and “by golly there was a big tire mark on the curb just west of the tree, so it kinda figures.”
