Sinkhole at Overlook and Palisades Junction

An email announcement by HOA2’s Walter Yazzie alerted resident that live and drive anywhere the intersection of Overlook and the Palisades beware of the large and apparently growing sinkhole in the middle of the road. Yazzie also reported that the utility companies with pipes in that area have inspected the site and can see no problem from their installations, so the source of the sinkhole remains a mystery.

The damaged area is blocked off by signage and at this writing, only one driveway is affected. But that could increase if the underlying problem continues to grow. Yazzi had no timeline as to when it will be repaired and more importantly, who will pay for the repair as this is a private HOA2 road.
