Sheriff Lamb to Headline November 14th SaddleBrooke GOP Meeting

VIA SBINSIDER| October 29th, 2023

Sheriff Mark Lamb will be the featured speaker at the regular meeting of the SaddleBrooke Republican Club. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th. The meeting will be held at Desert View Theater and doors open at 3PM.

Attendance is restricted to residents of SaddleBrooke and invited guests per HOA2 rules.

Lamb is currently running for the US Senate against declared candidates Republican Kari Lake and Democrat Ruben Gallegos. It is expected that current US Senator Kristen Sinema who has declared herself an Independent will also run. No independent has ever won a state-wide race in Arizona.

Lamb was elected Sheriff in 2016 and both he and Lake have been visitors to Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Largo estate. Lake, however, has been endorsed by Trump for her Senate run.

According to a recent poll of SaddleBrooke Republicans, Sheriff Lamb topped Lake by a strong margin, 59% to 41%. Club President Kathleen Dunbar remarked on the poll that many Republicans told her that Lake looks like she just wants to be elected to something, not committed to Arizona. But according to George Kahlaf, Lake immediately jumped to over 50% in his polling.

The primary is August 6th, 2024 and all county offices are also on the ballot.
