Sammy’s owner running for Governor

Jorge Rivas , the owner of the local Mexican themed restaurant, Sammy’s Mexican Grill, has announced his candidacy for the next Governor of Arizona. Rivas was given national media attention in 2020 when he spoke at an Arizona rally as a supporter of Donald Trump for President.

Sammy’s is located on north Oracle road, a short drive for SaddleBrooke residents.

Rivas has a steep hill to climb to be considered a serious contender. Already announced are Kimberly Yee, current Secretary of State, former Congressman Matt Salmon, millionaire Steve Gaynor, Karen Taylor Robson of Robson development (developer of SaddleBrooke and the Ranch)  and Kari Lake former TV anchorperson.
