SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network, Happy Charlie!

CONTRIBUTED BY ROMAYNE TRUDO | November 19th, 2023

On October 19th, HOA 1 patrol called SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network asking for assistance with a small dog that was picked up in the middle of the Ridgeview Blvd. In SaddleBrooke. When SBPRN volunteers arrived, it was determined that this little dog was a Havanese mix puppy approximately 6-8 months old. He was very scared, dirty, matted, covered with ticks and fleas. No one contacted patrol or SBPRN looking for this little guy. He had no collar, tag and was not microchipped. His photo was posted on social media sites but no one came forward.
Fortunately, SBPRN maintains a list of SB residents that are interested in adopting a cat or dog. When situations arise such as this, calls are made to these individuals to inquire if they would be interested in fostering-to-adopt. Donna and Jeff Sehn immediately stepped up to foster-to-adopt this precious puppy. He is scheduled for his neutering, vaccinations and microchipping in early December. But Donna and Jeff couldn’t wait to adopt him until then, so he was officially adopted on October 19th and now shares his home with his big brother, Tucker and little kitty sister Nala.
He is such a joyful, playful puppy and will live out his days bringing smiles to everyone he meets.
