Rythm of Dance @ Desert View

CONTRIBUTED BY KATHLEEN DUNBAR , March 6th, 2023

A sold out crowd was in awe Wednesday at the DesertView Theatre as performers from Ireland presented “The Rhythm of Dance”. If you love Irish ballads, the Irish dancing, and violins with a piccolo, you missed a performance comparable to any show at any major venue in any major city for a fraction of the cost. Hats off to Darby Baker for bringing this talented venue to SaddleBrooke.

Irish Dancers

This entire season every show has been fabulous (and this reviewer has purchased tickets to many of the shows). We had tickets front row center and could see the women tapping on toes shoes, the fun exchanges on the faces of the dancers, and the love of what they were doing was evident in every number. The audience broke out in applause throughout the performance and the applause at the end of the program could be heard throughout SaddleBrooke. People just kept clapping. What a night! I’m still smiling and listening to Alexa play Irish music.
