Pinal County Balllot mess

VIA SBINSIDER & pinalcentral | July 9th

Pinal County has reported a major mess with the mail-in ballots that hit all of Pinal County this week. According the county communications office, the ballots lacked Mayor and City Council races in Casa Grande, Superior, Maricopa Eloy, Mammoth and Apache Junction.  Approximately 100K ballots were sent lacking those important city races. Pinal County elections are managed by an elections director, newly hired about 5 months ago. The ballots are prepared and then sent to the Recorder’s office for mailing.

No ballots in SaddleBrooke are affected.

According to the Pinal County information director James Daniels, all of the affected voters will receive a 2nd ballot via mail that will have only the city races. Voters in the areas affected have been asked to mail-in or drop off the original ballot and to do the same with the second (supplementary) ballot.

If you have questions on any voting issue, contact the Citizen Contact Center on 520-509-3555, or 311 when dialing within Pinal County (Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), or email co************@pi***.gov.
