North West Associates closing SaddleBrooke location, patients nonplussed

SBINSIDER has verified that the North West Associates (NWA) office in the the Minit Market shopping strip will be closing its doors by March 1st, 2024. This news has been met with much frustration by SaddleBrooke residents who have enjoyed a very short trip to access non-emergency medical care.
Patients have been receiving postal mail from the company informing them that they will have to pick another primary care provider very soon. “This is very sudden, and it seemed they had continual turn over of staff,” said one current patient. Others remarked that they have been shuffled among Doctors and office support personnel over the course of the last several years. “Most people would agree that having a regular health care provider who knows your personal history is crucial to maintaining optimum health, ” added another current client. “It is scary to think I have to get another Doctor familiar with my person health profile.”
Patients will be forced to pick care from other NWA Doctors and locations, or perhaps change to another provider. SBINSIDER attempted to contact NWA management but was referred to the document posted at the office.
Another resident remarked that ” now that we have a terrific pharmacy, (Desert Life) it is terrible to lose a medical office.”
How frustrating! I never received a notification of closure.
What’s up with NWA management that they cannot maintain a facility here in this most needed area of medical attention? So disappointing that we all now will need to look elsewhere and further away. I can only hope and pray that perhaps another provider will see the value and come to our aid.
