Gaynor out of Governor race

Steve Gaynor, a self-funded candidate for Governor has suspended his campaign for Governor of Arizona. Gaynor lost to Democrat Katie Hobbs in the Secretary of State race in 2018, leading directly to the election shenanigans which made sure Joe Biden won Arizona.

Gaynor was a lousy candidate both times and the primary voters in the Republican party rightly rejected him for his dismal showing against Hobbs. Despite being wealthy, Gaynor spent very little in the race which has become a two-way contest between TV personality Kari Lake (Trump endorsed ) and Karen Taylor Robson the spouse of the man who built SaddleBrooke.
