Dairy Queen opens on Oracle Road

With the temperature passing 80 degrees for the first time in several months (and seems longer) the new Dairy Queen has opened on Oracle Road, just a hop and skip from SaddleBrooke. Renowned for its ice cream-based treats, the Minnesota-based company has 4,342 locations in 49 states. Texas has the greatest nuber of locations at 589 and has operations in many countries such as Spain and Germany and Australia, making a total of 6,800 stores. Most are owned as a franchise.

The newly opened store serving soft-serve icream is located on the prior site of the Circle K on the east side of Oracle Road, at the intersection with E Graham Street. Click for map.

Many Dairy Queens also offers a menu of assorted short-order food such as burgers and fries-but after a visit, it appears this store will be ice cream treats only. The DQ also has delivery services via services like Door Dash and Uber Eats.  On their website, you can download the I-Phone or Android application to pre-order.
