Preserve Dining in SaddleBrooke : A review

VIA SBINSIDER CONTRIBUTOR JULIA CHILDS| April 14, 2023

This place has it all, beautiful vistas, appealing food, cozy spaces, good service, and it is right in your backyard. Lunch at the Preserve restaurant in SaddleBrooke was a delight for our monthly lunch group.

The special of the day was a steak salad, with a small piece of tender steak, served over a bed of heirloom tomatoes with greens on the side. A balsamic vinaigrette topped it off. This lunch was a favorite of our lunch crowd with positive reviews.

Other lunches ordered were a chicken salad sandwich, cobb salad, and a burger. A very tasty burger it was, with all the trimmings. Golfers and other patrons of the Preserve at lunch certainly appreciate a delicious and substantial burger.

Our group had reservations and so we were able to be seated in the private dining area, one of the very cozy spaces in the restaurant. This is surely the home of casual charm in SaddleBrooke. Our server took care of our table with attention to detail.

Be sure to check for dates and times in advance. The restaurant is not open on Monday and Tuesday. Lunch starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. There is an hour reprieve when the bar opens at 4:00 PM. Dinner is served from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

We were there yesterday. I had the steak salad and my husband a burger. Both were excellent. Our guest ordered the shrimp Louie. She said it was good but the presentation could have been elevated. It looked diner.
