Turning Point’s Kirk Endorses Biggs

SBINSIDER REPORTING| May 17th, 2025
In a serious blow to the Karrin Taylor Robson campaign, Charlie Kirk’s grassroots organizing campaign endorsed Andy Biggs for Governor. Previously, Donald Trump had endorsed Robson but when Biggs announced, Trump decided to endorse both-although it was obvious that Trump was more enthusiastic for Biggs, who has been die-hard Trump supporter from 2016.
Robson, is the spouse of the billionaire developer of SaddleBrooke\Ranch and many retirement communities. She has served on the Arizona Board of Regents, is a lawyer, and lost the primary to Kari Lake in the 2024 Senate race. She is identified with the Ducey-Chamber of Commerce wing of the party and is well known in Phoenix.
Robson’s campaign has been running many TV ads touting her endorsement by President Trump.
Biggs is a member of Congress from a safe GOP seat (5th CD) in Eastern Maricopa County that also includes parts of northern Pinal County. He was elected in a primary squeaker in 2016 by less than 50 votes over Christine Jones, but has not had a close race since. Biggs worked as a lawyer for a firm based in Hobbs, New Mexico, before relocating to Phoenix, where he worked as a prosecutor. In 1993, he won $10 million in the American Family Publishers sweepstakes and began his political career shortly after. He was President of Congressional Freedom Caucus known as the right-wing of the GOP.
Charlie Kirk’s organization, Turning Point, has as its mission to elect the most right-wing candidates in primary and general elections. It has a far reaching grassroots operation that recruits volunteers from college campuses.
