GOP Candidate Forum, Tuesday June 14th

Tuesday, June 14th, the SaddleBrooke Republican club will host a candidate forum for Legislative District (LD) 17 which was newly created after the 2020 census. The district boundaries include SaddleBrooke, Sdallbroke Ranch and a part of northern Pima county, mainly Oro Valley and west to Marana.
The Senate seat is currently occupied by Vince Leach a resident of SaddleBrooke. The House has 2 seats open with no incumbents. The other Senate candidates are Robert Barr and Justine Wadsack.
On the 5 House race there are Kirk Fiehler, Anna Orth, Sherrylyn Young, Cory Garr, Rachel Jones. The two highest vote getters will advance to the general election.
The Primary is August 2nd, with mail-in ballots going out the weekend of July 4th.
The event will be held at SaddleBrooke’s Desert View theater and doors are open at 3 PM, all Republicans are welcome.
