Wadsack Responds to SBINSIDER and Leach Election

VIA SBINSIDER REPORTING-OPINION| September 27th, 2024-UPDATED October 1st, 2024

In a stunning display of a lack of self-awareness and integrity, Justine Wadsack, who was easily defeated by Vince Leach in the LD-17 re- match primary for State Senate, has joined forces with Democrats to try and defeat SaddleBrooke’s Leach.

In a social media posting she took issue with Leach’s voter education guide text which reads: “balancing security with humanitarian concerns is essential, as countries must also consider the rights and well-being of migrants and refugees seeking asylum.”

Editors: Note: Wadsack contacted SBINSIDER after the original publication, to dispute the characterization that she is working to defeat Leach, texting that it is “all lies”.  Wadsack did confirm that she is a field worker for Turning Point. The story was first reported on Substack’s Tucson Agenda which can be accessed here. Which shows the tweet and more in-depth reporting.

In that Substack article the writer indicates that Wadsack has also made the claim that there is no difference between Leach and his Democrat opponent (and proud Progressive) John McLean.

A cursory review of both candidate’s websites would easily dispel this notion. McLean, if elected to a majority Democrat legislature, would vote to an increase in personal income tax, the ending of ESA’s for school choice and support attacks on gun rights-all positions to which Leach is diametrically opposed.

The most disturbing part of Wadsack’s turncoat behavior is that she claims she is a field worker for Turning Point (Charlie Kirk) the organization that is ostensibly working to elect the most conservative candidates in Arizona races. Kirk could not reached by email for comment on this obvious betrayal by Wadsack.

Wadsack was always at hot mess personally with several controversies, including a recent arrogant traffic stop in Tucson which she claims was nonsensically “politically motivated”  but did vote very conservatively in her short tenure. Her voting record was not enough to overcome her personal and very public, problems.

SBINSIDER reached out to both state representatives Cory McGarr and Rachel Jones, who ran with Wadsack in 2022 as part of the “Freedom Team” in Ld-17. Both refused by email to comment to their former colleague’s recent shenanigan’s.

Every conservative voter when asked about his matter, could be summed up by this quote” She has always been a person with so much drama that no one is surprised she is acting like an 8th grader. Her loss to Vince Leach proved that Republicans purge their own when they cannot respect the office or the voters. Good riddance to her.”
