SaddleBrooke Tennis Club\U of A fights skin cancer

SUBMITTED BY  T.J. DUFFY | October 29th, 2023

Skin cancer is by far the most common type of cancer.  Research estimates that non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC), including basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, affects more than 3 million Americans a year.

That is why you should join us Saturday, November 11 at the SaddleBrooke One Tennis Center, 12PM to 3:15PM to aid in the fight.

The University of Arizona Skin Cancer Institute (SCI) is nationally recognized for advances in skin cancer research. SaddleBrooke Tennis Club partners with SCI and the University of Arizona Women’s and Men’s Tennis Teams to raise funds for skin cancer research.

The event highlights:

Silent Auction – Bid on a variety of valuable goods and services from local businesses and SB residents! Bidding starts: Noon — Bidding closes: 2:30 p.m.*

  • 12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. – SCI’s Dylan Miller to speak + UA player Intros

  • 02:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. – Top 16 donation bidders to join UA Wildcats for some doubles tennis in three 20-minute sessions
