Pinal County GOP hears from Biggs

Saturday, May 4th at the annual Lincoln Day lunch, the crowd heard from candidate for Governor candidate Andy Biggs. While proclaiming that Arizona is a “red state” as evidenced by control of both the state House and Senate, his assertion is belied by the fact at Arizona has a Democrat Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State and both US Senators. The only other major candidate thus far declared is Karen Taylor-Robson whose absence was noted by the fervent Republican crowd.

The event was held in the Robson Ranch Hermosa Ballroom in Eloy, AZ. A plethora of SaddleBrooke residents attended the event.

Also speaking was Gina Swoboda the current GOP state chairman who is a possible candidate for Secretary of State. Former Sheriff Mark Lamb and media personality James T. Harris. County Chairman Kirk Fiehler of Eagle Ranch kicked off the event and former State Senator Steve Smith served as MC.
