Now serving Peking Duck, Scallops, Shrimp, Squid, or Beef with asparagus or sugar snap peas, Kung Pao scallop or squid, Mongolian Squid, or steamed fish, you can enjoy these new specials at GMG Chinese Bistro. Located near the corner of W. Lambert Lane and N. La Canada Dr. it is a great place to stop on your way home to SaddleBrooke.
Named the best Asian food by local media in Tucson, you can try all your favorite classic stir fry items in addition to the new menu items listed in the previous paragraph. Egg flower soup, wonton soup, or hot and sour soup are just some of the soups available. If you have trouble deciding what you like, select one of the combos such as Mongolian Combo, Kung Pao Combo, and Happy Family.
My favorites are Hunan Chicken and Chicken with Snow Peas. Moo Shu Pork is also very popular and what meal would be complete without the House Special Fried Rice? There are many times we have purchased two stir-fry classics with the House Special Fried Rice, brought home the leftovers and gotten three complete meals for two people out of those three items.
If you are running errands around town, stop at GMG Chinese Bistro for lunch. You have many favorites to choose from for the Lunch Specials, plus you get an egg roll and a choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup. There is plenty of food in this lunch special.
Our lunch group ate here recently, and we had prompt service, even for our large group. They knew we were coming and were prepared for us. Most people were happy with their food choices, although one person said the Kung Pao Chicken could have used more Pao! The pictures shows the Ginger Chicken with Onion and Chicken with Broccoli. You can see by the picture this is a substantial serving size.
