Bobcat Interferes with Golf Cart Driver, Crash Ensues

In an unusual accident in Unit 1, a Bobcat darted out from a side yard and into the street in front of a woman driving a golf cart causing her to lose control and ram into a parked RV. Fortunately, the cart driver was not injured in the crash. The golf cart received front end damage and the RV incurred a large dent in the rear facade.
After an investigation by the Pinal County Sheriff’s department and SaddleBrooke Patrol, no citations were issue.
Bobcats are common in the Unit 1 area but no reports of attacks of humans or pets have been reported in recent years, according to the SaddleBrooke Patrol.
