4th of July Tennis and Chili cookoff

VIASBINSIDER| June 7th

The SaddleBrooke Tennis Club will host an Independence Day social\tennis event, according to social chair Cindy Madsen. The event will include both the traditional and the fast-growing spot of Pop Tennis. Tennis is we will begin on Monday at 9 AM and the social will start around 11:15 AM.

According to board members of the club, the introduction of Pop tennis has added nearly 200 new members of the club. Pop tennis requires much less stress on the body and can be picked up quickly by inexperienced players. Older traditional players have been lured back to the courts with this new playing option.

Chili Cookoff too
This year, we will be hosting a chili cook-off asking the Golder Ranch Fire Department to be the special judges.  They will be chowing down on the entries during playing time and then the winner will be announced during the social.
The SaddleBrooke Tennis Club is run by a volunteer board and membership is open to residents in HOA1 and HOA2. The tennis courts are owned and maintained by the respective HOA’s but SaddleBrooke residents are not required to be a member of the club to use any of the tennis courts.
